Leeds Castle is the quintessential picture book castle, and is without doubt beautiful. Very little remains of the original interior or pre 1900 modifications so most of what you see inside is relativity modern. If you are looking to experience a medieval castle you will be disappointed.
gardens were ablaze with flowers and they had abit of wild life there,swans,peacocks and other birds,great grounds and castle is circled by a moat,there is a water wheel and small stream. this trip was worth the effort. We visited this attraction during what was probably one of the coldest Easter weeks for 50 years!!
